How can I find out if you deliver to my area?

The easiest way to find out if we deliver to your area is to enter your zip code on the homepage. This will tell you whether or not we currently deliver to where you live. We currently serve areas in most of the Austin & San Antonio metroplex and everywhere in between. We also serve the DFW metroplex and more!

What if I am not in your delivery area?

First, take a deep breath.  Ok, are you calm?  You sure?  Ok, you can still get your box delivered to your office (remember to select residential account). Or you can try to get several people around you to sign up as well and we'll talk about making exceptions with you. At the very least, please send us your information so we know where our organic goodness is being missed.

Are your drivers safe?

If you've met any of our drivers, you'll know they are the jolliest group you'll ever meet. They love being on the front lines to bring our customers their bins of local and organic goodness- they'll even come in and put in the fridge for you if you'd like them to!

But seriously, not only do we do background checks, but our delivery drivers are insured and bonded by a 3rd party. If you have any concerns at all, please contact us ASAP - we take the safety of our customers, our drivers, and the others they share the road with extremely seriously.

Don't you waste a lot of fuel driving around all day?

We go to each part of town once a week. Turns out we're incredibly more fuel efficient than our customers driving to the store themselves. In fact, we use 86% less gas in a day than each of those customers driving to the store and back home themselves. It's true. We can show you the math.

What's my delivery day?

This is dependent on your zip code. We deliver to different zip codes on different days (except business deliveries which are always on Monday).

What's the difference between Office Snack Room and Residential delivery?

Business deliveries all occur on Mondays and are composed of snack-room items. We have a limited selection of produce on Mondays, so if you want produce for your home delivered to your office, please select ‘Residential' in your preferences. You can leave a comment saying it is being delivered to your office.

How do I know when my produce will arrive?

When creating your account you will be able to select from a list of time windows to receive your box. Some areas only have 1 time window to choose from, some have more. We will contact you if we need to schedule a different delivery time, or if the time frame shifts. Our trucks are usually loaded with 50-75 boxes, so there is no way to pinpoint exactly when a delivery will arrive. Though we can’t promise a delivery at an specific time, we do our best to keep things consistent and our insulated bins will keep your goodies fresh for several hours on a porch.

What if I'm not home for delivery?

Don't worry about it! You don't need to be home. Just make sure there's a shaded spot for our driver to put the bin in. It will stay fresh there for at least 4 hours. We put temperature sensors in some bins and tested how long they stayed fresh on deliveries. The temperature in the bin stayed under 60F and inside cold packs it stayed below 40F for 4 hours. If you won't be home for over 4 hours, we suggest you arrange for someone else to place it inside or get the delivery at work.

How is milk & meat packaged for delivery?

Both are placed inside cooler bags inside your bin. These bags also have ice packs in them that keep your food fresh for up to 4 hours.

How do the plastic bins work?

Deliveries will be made in recycled plastic bins and will be left in accordance with the delivery instructions on your Account Profile. In preparation for your next delivery, simply leave out your bin and the driver will pick it up. We ask that you return the bins to us as we reuse them and recycle them should they break. We will contact you if we notice unreturned bins and remind you to put them out for your next regularly scheduled delivery. Please note that if the bins are not returned when requested, there will be a $10 charge for each unreturned bin. Upon cancellation, a one time courtesy attempt will be made on your regularly scheduled delivery day to pick up any unreturned bins. If all bins are returned, your $10 deposit will be refunded to you, usually within 4-6 weeks (it takes time to get the bins back, verify they have arrived, verify there are no outstanding balances on your account, then cut you a check).
