Delivery Info + Tips

Did you know that each day our trucks carry up to 100 deliveries in each one and they use 86% less fuel than the customers from that day going to the grocery store themselves? It's crazy, I know, but we can show you the math.

So, delivery.....yeah, it's easy.  And changing your delivery schedule is aos easy. Here's a quick tutorial:

Here are some tips for making it even easier:

• If you have special requests for your delivery (such as which door to leave the bin at if no one is home), please include them in the Driver Instructions portion of your account profile.

• If you will not be home for your next schedule delivery, always remember to leave your previous order’s bin outside on your door for pick-up. If you forget once, no problem.  If you forget more than once...well, you just don't want to go there.

• If it is warm out, do not sign up for a morning delivery if no one will be home until the afternoon or evening—and vice versa. Even in the summer heat, our bins can keep produce and groceries, even milk, fresh for about 4 hours on your porch.  After that, the food may start to get cranky.
Here's a quick video about the our bins & how your order will arrive:

• Sometimes we have to make last-minute changes based on freshness. Though this doesn’t happen often, when it does we might decide to give you a replacement item. Please let us know if you have preferred replacement items or it it’s okay for us to choose on your behalf. You can indicate your preferences in the Packing Instructions portion of your account.

• Even though we try our best, sometimes items can go bad during the delivery process (this is usually caused by certain items emitting gases that accelerate the ripening of other items). If you ever receive bad produce, please let us know as soon as possible and we will be happy to replace them on your next delivery.

• Remember that local produce does not always look like the produce you see in the grocery store—sometimes it looks better, sometimes it does not—but it will always be healthier and better tasting!

• And lastly, if you're paying COD please have exact change ready. Our drivers do not carry any change.
