All Richardson Farms pork products come from grass-fed and grain-supplemented pigs raised on open pastures using absolutely no growth hormones or antibiotics.
The farm, located in Rockdale, Texas, is lovingly run by Jim and Kay Richardson. Jim has a unique perspective concerning animal care and welfare gained through 35+ years of veterinary practice. Pork belly is the meat derived from the belly of a pig. In the United States, bacon is made most often from pork bellies. This pork belly is sliced but has not been cured or smoked making it great for adding to dishes for a pure pork flavor.
