These beautiful Austin Blues come from a heritage breed and have firmer yolks than many traditional eggs. Located on 27 acres in South Austin along Onion Creek, their story begins with healthy, green, organic pastures.

Every few days Vital Farms' chickens are moved onto fresh native grass. The health of their pasture is reflected in the happy hens and their delicious, healthy eggs. In addition to eating organic grasses, their hens eat a healthy feed mix that includes organic GMO-free corn, fresh flax seed, soy, kelp, organic vegetables and fruits, vitamins and probiotics. Nothing these girls eat contains anything that is not 100% organic. That means no pesticides, herbicides, or other chemicals in the chickens, their eggs, or as runoff in our streams, rivers and oceans.
