Every culture has their own 'chicken soup for the soul' recipe. This one just may be our favorite. Our delicious chicken stock, made fresh every week from Dewberry Farms chickens, is fortified with a fiery blend of dried Mexican chiles and simmered with corn tortillas, giving it that distinct corn flavor. A perfect accompaniment to your dinner, or a whole meal in itself. Crush in some tortilla chips, a few chunks of avocado and you have a respectable soup, perfect with our fresh salad of the week or alongside any of our entrees. Ingredients: chicken stock, chicken, organic tomato, organic onion, garlic, corn tortilla, canola oil, chipotle, dried chiles, organic herbs, salt, pepper *local ingredients from Johnson's Backyard Garden The creative team at Dishalicious include a catering chef from South Africa, a New York pastry chef, and a first generation Vietnamese-Texan that grew up in San Antonio eating traditional Vietnamese fare and Mexican soul-food; they combine their influences and interests to make comforting food with the really great ingredients Central Texas has to offer. Dishalicious focuses on providing delicious, convenient, handmade, mostly-organic, easy-to-reheat meals made with ingredients from mostly local purveyors.
