I learned the essence of cooking from my Grandmother Ruth. Every week a gathering of family and friends would gather around a table of deliciousness where there was always room for an unexpected guest. Ecstatic Cuisine started many years later when I was blindsided by my love for making beauty that feasted the eyes and tickled the palate in the medium of flavor, texture, and color. I spent the next 9 years trying to reconcile this with a family passion for peace and social justice. Ecstatic Cuisine is the fruit of that examination.
