A 100% Solar Powered Music Festival held on Trinity River Project Property, minutes from downtown Fort Worth along the banks of the Trinity River. The festival features live music, local beer and area organizations. Admission is free but tickets can be purchased for $35, which provide access to the backstage Rahr Lounge, two drink tickets and a Rahr t-shirt.

Promise of Peace Community Garden [Dallas]
This Saturday Promise of Peace will be hosting Okra Palooza, a festival celebrating a southern staple. There will be an okra recipe contest, home brew from Seven Summits, along with music by Douglass Fairweather on a solar powered stage built by Mike Renner of the North Texas Renewable Energy Group, kids activities and magical Hat Making by Desiree. Tickets can be purchased at the garden on Saturday mornings at 7446 East Grand Ave. or by emailing Elizabeth Dry at email@example.com – the $20 ticket includes the okra tasting and beer tasting, while a $10 ticket is for the okra tasting only.
