[Central TX] Food & Sustainability Events, Aug 20-26

All of us at Greenling love to grub. Some of us are vegans, others are carnivores but one thing that we all have in common is how eating out of the local box has changed our relationship with food. We are not only cooking more, we are also learning about where our food comes from and expanding our palate. So for this week, I challenge you to something new or learn to appreciate the delicacies of a certain food. Maybe eat a meatless burger? Or a new fruit?

About Asiago

Hola a todos! Me llamo Asiago. I am a recent graduate in Latin American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. I am quite lucky in that hablo español and falo português! During my college years, I've traveled to several countries and realized that food is what connects us all around the globe. I believe that food should be accessible for all humanity. It doesn't matter if you at a street stand munchin' down Tacos al Pastor in Mexico City or sipping on a Brazilian Capirinha on Copacabana beach, we all have a relationship with food and working for Greenling I get to improve food access for my local community!
